The most likely time frame for storms on Sunday, Sept. 1, will be early to late afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Woburn Man Seriously Hurt In CT Hit-Run Crash After Stepping Out Of His Car A 38-year-old Massachusetts man was seriously injured after a car crashed into him in Connecticut, on Friday night, Aug. 30. In Cromwell, Connecticut, police were called to south I-91 just after 8 p.m. after a "small, white Honda sedan" veered onto the shoulder and crashed into a parked car, Connecticut State Police said. Goldman Sachs To Fire Over 1,300 Workers, Report Says New York City-based multinational investment bank and financial services company Goldman Sachs plans to lay off over 1,300 employees, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal. The move is part of an annual review process that culls low performers, the report said, noting the numbers of those getting fired may wind up being as high as 1,800 out of the company's global workforce of around 45,000. Stow Man ID'd As Body Pulled From Lake Authorities in Stow have identified a 70-year-old man who drowned in a lake on Saturday, Aug. 24. Frederick Dusseault, of Stow, was found around 11:30 a.m. in Lake Boon in Stow.
